ok im not sureif its my amp or wat i have a kicker kx800.2 pretty big amp....ok so wen ever i put the bass higher on my cross over control the clarion 3 way and like if i put the gain up to high it get a really hard like medium low freq sound its wierd it didnt happen to me with any of my previose amps idk maybe becuz this amp is so strong idk but i havent had the chance to test it in another car can some1 help?

Do you have a pioneer radio? With the amp on but volume all the way down, if you touch the chassis of the amp, does it make a sound in your woofers?

yea i have a pioneer older flip out its not even a dvd player its just a tv and im almost sure my ground on the preamps is messed up i just finished testing it in my boys car and it sounded normal but he didnt have a cross over so idk and i put the gain up all and the bass boost and it sounded good and about wat u told me to it sounded fine there was no sound wen i hit it

Did you try your amp in your boys car, or did you put your radio in your boys car?
