opinion on the rd sonance?

What is you honest opinion on the RD sonance? Like or dislike, what other subwoofer would you recommend for $250ish each?

I ask this because i was in another forum asking about kicker l7's, and they ALL told me that the RD's were way better. Just wondering if they were promoting a product, or if it really is that nice of a sub?

And also - an opinion on DAT amplifiers? (http://diabloaudiotechnologies.com/)

What type of sound are you looking for? Are you looking for loudness, sound quality, a mix of both of these. If you were looking at the L7s previously then I'm guessing that you are more looking for loudness then any type of sound quality. RD makes some nice subs. There are other subs out there that are nice as well, though. If we know what you are looking for we can recommend a couple of more so you have a selection to look through. I haven't been able to see/hear a DAT amp in action yet. From what I have seen from their boards they look like they are well built. I don't even know where you can buy one of them at the moment though.

Thanks for the reply. The l7's were just a whim cause i could get a good deal on. Completely out of the question. I'm looking for a mix of loudness and quality. The DAT is only available through a few employees if i'm not mistaken. And sure, please throw out a couple other woofers you would recommend?
