Hello ya'll I just replaced an old cd player in my 2002 Kia Spectra with a new one, I wired everything up like the old one (went from Pioneer to JVC due to features) but am having a problem, everything worls but i can play it without the car being turned on and know that will eventually drain my battery, some of the wires are different colors but i cant figre out whats not connected right due to different colors please help!!

can you check to see if the red wire has power (12v) when the car is off? only the yellow wire from the radio should have power all of the time, the red wire should turn off and on with the car. if what is hooked to the red wire stays on then you need to find a switched power wire and hook it to it.
