I have a 03 Expo EB with the 6 disk radio and rear subwoofer.  I have installed my amp and sub from my old car into it, ran all power, ground, spliced RCA into the sub amp, but I can't get the remote wire to work right....when I test it it reads 7v on my multimeter when the radio it on, but I can't figure out a way to step that up to 12v to turn on the amp. How have other people installed and amp to the factory radio and got the remote turn on?

Just grab your 12volt turn on from the ignition switch. I think it is BLACK/ light green for the accessory wire. Also fuse this connection.
