I was wanting to know how to calculate Slot port dimensions. I have three Audiobahn AW1000v's which call for a 3" diameter port 8" in length. I'm building a shared airspace fiberglass box with 4.5 cu total airspace and want to configure a rear firing slot port. Thanks for the help.

A 3 inch circle has 7 Sq Inches of surface area.  A 2 X 3.5 inch port the same length will be the same as the 3 inch round port.

Formula to figure the surface area of a circle is   Pi (3.14159) X Radius Squared.   3.14159 X (1.5 X 1.5)  =  7.068

Surface area of a slot = Height X Width.  2 X 3.5 = 7

Let's Go Brandon Brown. Congratulations on your first Xfinity Series Win. LGBFJB

Very cool. Thank you. So a slot port 2" high 10.5" wide and 8" deep would be the same as ( 3 ) 3" by 8" round ports. Appreciate the help.

This is incorrect.  3X 3" X 8" ports will tune to a higher frequency than 1X  2"X10.5"X8" slot.

Ok, so what would be the correct calculation then. Thanks for the help. I'm looking to tune to 35.424 in a 3.750 cu/ft enclosure.

Use the calculator on this site.  And realize your actual tuning will never be so precise as 35.424 Hz, although you can cewrtainly enter that into the calculator.  35 would be your target.
