hi ive done a search for this sub and only threads i have found where locked and a bit old and i could not post to them..
so i got these subs off of crutchfield.com http://www.crutchfield.com/p_1081052W/Infinity-1052w.html?search=1052w&tp=111
and was wondering which amp would pair up best with them i looked on .....com and found a power acoustics bamf 1250/2
http://www......com/item_14637_Power+Acoustik+BAMF-1250-2+-BAMF1250-2-.html
ive educated myself as much as i can about choosing the right amp ect but just want to make sure i dont make a $$$ mistake when i purchased my amp. so if anyone could give their input on this amp on whether its a good match for two of the 1052w subs i would appreciate it. also if you have any other recommendations i would gladly appreciate it. thanks
these subs will be going into a 2007 gmc sierra crew cab in a probox fyi
i am an idiot

If it were me, I would avoid that amp like the plague.  I have not seen a 1250 yet, but I have repaired several of the 2000, 4000, and the 5500s.  They will hopefully figure out that they need to mount the class D inductors to the circuit board with something other than the 2 ends of the wire.  They also suffer from broken legs on the output transistors.  This could possibly be avoided by mounting the amp as far away from the sub enclosure as possible.  The inductors will break regardless of where the amp is mounted.  If you do get the amp, remove the cover and carefully apply some silicone adhesive to the inductors and the circuit board.  Once they repair several hundred of these amps, they will modify the build process to incorporate the silicone.  They use it on the older amps, I have no clue why they thought that these amps would not need the adhesive.
Let's Go Brandon Brown. Congratulations on your first Xfinity Series Win. LGBFJB
