Hey,
i just bought a Pioneer DEH-2100IB Headunit to replace my Sony XPLOD CDX GT-220 that i paid 80$ 1 year ago.. On first impression it was great.. nice black and green finish better than the old sony.. It sound more clear than the sony but there is no Subwoofer control (There a preout but no control and no LPF) So wth?!?!? I need to set the bass to only +2 because my speakers are not amplified. Seriously i dont know what to do.. I think i will return it to the store.. I paid this 140$. What do you think?? Did someone have this HU?
i am an idiot

Does your subwoofer amp have a built in crossover?  Does it have a bass boost knob?  If yes to both, set radio bass to -2, set amp crossover to 100 and turn the bass boost up a little bit, turn the amp's gain up until the bass level is to your liking compared to the level of your door/dash/rear deck speakers.
Let's Go Brandon Brown. Congratulations on your first Xfinity Series Win. LGBFJB

Yes it have a Crossover and bass boost.. But bass boost can only be controlled on the amplifier. It might work but i will loose bass from speaker... I'm really frustred that there is no SubW control on HU... That the first time i see that.

Yeah...Just a base CD Player...! You can get into a Kenwood for around the same money(KDC-MP342U)...With sub out...MSRP is around $130...Although when i looked up that pioneer...The specs said it had 3 rca 4 volt outs and was 22 watts rms...LOL...Looked again and downloaded the manual...And said 14w rms...With a single output...pioneer hu no sub control? -- posted image.
