Do yall think it is truly necessary to have a fuse before the amp?
I am considering running my new amp with out a fuse for a few hours just to get some testing in. What do yall think?

there is no way i would ever do it, its there for the safety of a possible fire and to protect the amp. Especially if your gonna be testing the amp im assuming you will be pushin it hard at times. And really how hard is it to install a inline fuse anyways??? takes 5 minutes, and is well worth the peice of mind in my opinion.
i am an idiot

Do you like the car, and all of the things inside it?  Are you going to be testing it in your garage?  If so, do you like your house?

I can't think of a single reason that would justify not installing a fuse - I would never hook an amp up to a car battery inside a car without a fuse mounted right at the battery.
