xm radio sound weak

i have the xm commander unit hooked up trough the antenna port on my kdc-693 volume from cd and radio are fine big loss of volume when listing to xm radio checked volume conrtol on xm unit and it is max but not much sound didnt have problem till installed the kdc-693

http://akamaipix.crutchfield.com/Manuals/209/209XMCMDMT.PDF           Page 48 of the PDF file.  There are 2 manuals in the file.  It is page 25 of the 2nd manual if you are looking at the page numbers printed on the manual.   When you changed the radio, you probably disconnected the yellow wire of the commander.  It lost it's memory.  When the installer installed the unit initially, he set this control to the proper level.

i have that turned up to max it did not start till the kenwood was installed the previous head unit sounded the sam evolume nomatter what source i used on the this new one only the xm loses volume bbut it is not the volume control on the xm unit mayb ei should try one of the units that hook up direct to the kenwood

my unit does not pull this up is it because im using the fm option instead of the direct connection

ok tried turning off fm option and got the line out to come up turned it up an dno difference in  tha audio level this weekend maybe try to reinstall everything and see if maybe something not right ahve new speakers to install as well
