I was thinking about getting the Alpine IVA-W505. I want a double Din since I have a 95 Integra. Has anyone used one of these yet with the IMPRINT Interface yet? Was it worth the cost? Does anyone have any other suggestions on a Double Din HU? I want something that can do it all....DVD's Nav, HD radio, nd I guess that it.
Also is the Imprint add on worth the 250 bucks? It looks like it would work, but you cant tell by looking online.
Thanks for any input!
By the Way it will go with the system I already got:
Alpine PDX-1.1000
(2) JL Audio 12W6v2-D4 12"
Alpine PDX-4.100
(2) Alpine SPX-17REF 6-1/2"

Heres a review on them...The main con was the navigation...Apparently no updates yet... http://www.crutchfield.com/p_500IVAW505/Alpine-IVA-W505.html?tp=20217... Also you have to purchase the upgrades...Nav...HD...Etc...(from what i can tell!)

Alpine likes to drag their feet in the map updates department... I have a PMD-B200 Blackbird, (the little hand-held that docks in the IVA-W205) and I HAVE had it for a little shy of two years. My serial nmber is 2795. WAY early delivery on mine. Since DAY ONE, the maps were outdated, and every time I call the Alpine "technical support" line, all I get is "Keep watching the website for notifications. It's on the way." Frustrating at best, annoying at worst. The navigation has been VERY accurate, it's fast, and easy to program, just in my case, outdated. I like the unit, it's awesome, just unhappy with updates capacity.
Say, i am an idiot? Are you by chance familiar with the B200 at all?
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

Thanks for all the input. The Nav being a little outdated would be kinda annoying but I dont think its enough to deter me from getting the head unit.
Sorry man I have never used an alpine Nav before so I dont know the B200 at all
