What will be the best setup?
I'm looking for SQ but still very loud.
2 10in ported (idq10v2)
3 10in sealed (idq10v2)
3 8in ported (idk?)
4 8in sealed (idk?)
???
I already own 2 Image Dynamics idq10v2's. I have around 2.25 cf or air to work with. No amp has been choosen yet. Behind backseat of a Ford Superduty.

well i like sealed boxes bcause they give a deep bass and i think they just sound better maybe because there not as loud but deeper also bigger speakers hit lows better ans 12's cost almost the same as 10's.i would choose the 3 10's sealed

just saying sealed is not accurate without knowing all of the variables to the install.
How your bass sounds will largely depend on the enclosure not the subwoofer.
Example...I had people thinking I had a 15 in the back with 1000 watts..and sounded amazing.
Really I had a 25 dollar speaker with 250 watts...the enclosure was the key.

If everything was perfect in the end, what set will produce the loudest spl numbers?
what 8in drivers are people using for big bass and how do you set them up?

depends on the enclosure and vehicle install.
What is loudest depends on the enclosure.
There are people breaking 150s with a couple 8 inch subwoofers while others have four 18's and still not over 150db.
