Are there 2 sets of input wires?  This unit being as old as it is, it may not accept input from a newer floating ground radio.   If it does have 2 sets of speaker level inputs and you are going to use a newer high power radio, you need to follow these instructions carefully.  Connect only the positive speaker wires of the radio to the positive input wires of the EQ.  Do not connect the negative speaker wires of the radio to anything.  Insulate the negative speaker wires of the radio so they do not touch anything.  Ground the 2 negative input wires of the EQ.   Once you get the input wires and power and ground to the EQ, you can turn it on and test the speaker output wires one channel at a time.  Use the balance of your radio and the fader of the EQ to determine which channel that set of wires powers.  Then move to the next set of wires.

Thanks,But This PYRAMID MODEL 705 300 WATT COMBO MODELhas only 2 CHANNEL INPUTS(4 WIRES,1+ left & 1 +right,The other 2 are -N Ground,And does have 2 HI-END RCA INPUT JACKS,Which is simple enough)...Whats confusing me is those COLOR CODED 8 OUTPUT WIRES TO SUB WOOFERS- I dont trust that Trial & Error wiring blind kind of work,Only reason because of the TIME LOSTcorrecting FRONT to REAR,Left to Right FADER HASSLES-Theres nothing wrong with a unit this old,I just need to know what color wire goes to what speakers? Some kind of a reply  that looks like this-1 WHITE wire(+) and the WHITE /Blackstipe(-N) goes to LEFT REAR SPEAKER...
