My '96 Subaru Legacy has a Panasonic P114 AM/FM/Casette radio, .

I try to install a Subaru Remote CD player, H6240LS001, made by Matsushita (Panasonic?) with a manuf. date of 2002.

Here is the problem:

The radio has a 13 pin DIN socket, the CD player has a 16 pin (8x2) connector plug with 11 wires.

I searched, but cannot find a pinout schematic for these two connectors. Can anyone guide me in the right direction,

TIA

This plugs the car stereo wiring to the radio.

Thanks, but not what I need.

I need to plug the CD player to the 13 pin DIN socket (circular) at the back of the radio.

The male connector on the pigtail of the CD player is a 16 pin (8x2) rectangular plug with 11 wires. I need to replace it with a 13 pin Din male plug but I don't know where the wires need to go.

These 11 wires are in the 16 pin plug (assuming #1 is top left looking at the front):

top row: Red - Wht - NC - Gry - Org - Blu - Brn - NC

Bottom:  Blk - NC - NC - Vlt - Blk - Grn - Yel - NC

Bold are heavier gauge, NC are emty pins.

The pinout I have for the DIN socket  shows only 9 wires:
