I am in a decision making stage of my next subwoofer setup. I will just be adding on 2 more TS-W2501D2 subwoofers on to the 2 I already have on a 2400watt amp... The subwoofers are 800wrms. Now lets say Hypothetically the amp is pushing all 2400watts and my subwoofer are only getting 600wrms. Is 200watts less going to make a big difference in sound for the 4 of them?
Or i can go with 3 subwoofers and them being Power completely with 800wrms.
Thanks Adam
P.S. I fainlly got a HO Alt. Scoresubwoofer full spl without full rms watts -- posted image.

Are you building a system you plan to compete with, or is this a daily driver for your enjoyment?

Plan on Competing in the Near future. I can always plan on getting a bigger amp later... Much later. But i mainly want to know if thats a big difference to the ear and the meter...
Or would 3 Sealed at at complete RMS be better..
Oh yeah and both boxes are sealed
Thanks Adam

couple questions.
1. What amplifier? you relize 3 dual 2s your best wire config for a 1ohm stable amp is a 1.34 ohm load. so you would not see full 1ohm power.
2. Do you have optimal space to have 4 in an optimal enclosure? The reason i ask this is 2 speakers in a correct enclosure will yield better output than anding more to an inadequate enclosure.

i knew there was something i was forgetting to mention subwoofer full spl without full rms watts -- posted image. So from there even the 3 subwoofers would only see about 600wrms.
So back to the Main question of does the 200watts really make a big difference in sound?
But to answer you questions
its a Hypothetical 100% efficient 2400wrms amplifier. Thats just what we're going with.
I have about 3.5cbft for the subwoofers and their maximum sealed enclosure is 0.7cbft airspace. Recommended amount is 0.6cbft. Displacement is .1cbft.
So from the sound of that my box only needs to be 2.8cbft but I want the low end so I'd go slightly for the 3.2cbft maximum of .7cbft. not that big of a difference but will need to be accurate. (For 4 subwoofers)

Thanks for the calculator^^
So I wont really hear a difference? powering a sub 200wrms less than its RMS rating?

Nope you wont hear it at all. It may make a slight difference on a SPL mic, but not much at all.
