Hey whats up everyone i have two jbl p1222's on a 2000 watt jbl monoblock amp and at first had a sealed box and it kinda hit lows but not really and kinda hit mids but not really most likely because it was too small so i upgraded to a vented enclosure and it pounds mids but has none of the lows that rumble. my buddy has two alpine type r's with my amp in a seald enclosure and they absolutely slam lows and i was wondering if anyone could tell me what box to get and if anybody know's any good sites that sell quality enclosures cause its kind of expensive to just go out and buy one of each kind to see what sounds good.

best thing to do is build ur own enclosure they require around 1.2 cubic feet of airspace per sub so about a 2.5 cubic feet ported box tuned to around 33 htz. will give u the lows ur missing out on

First major build for myself in the process

They recommend 1.75 GROSS ported with a 4 x 10.75 port. Although with the port they have figured being a 4 inch round and 1.75 cu.ft. gross volume thats a Fb of 40.5Hz not the 33Hz they say. I would go with a 1.8 cu.ft. GROSS volume With a 4 inch port 17 1/2 inches long. That will tune you to a true 33hz and be the correct recommended airspace for the sub.
