I bought one of these decks and it really sounds fantastic. A really BIG step up from everything I've owned over the years. I very happy with that part. As great as it sounds, it is equally hard to de-cipher the owners manual (AFTER you break down and print the WHOLE thing from the website) and to adjust the many features. Before I ordered it, I contacted a local Eclipse dealer to get some info. I was told that the unit was new, and not yet available. ???(whatever..) What I love about it is that there is NO hiss, whine, click, pop, static, or whatever else you can think of coming from the speakers. Just music, sweet, sweet music. I paid $250 + shipping and I feel like I've had a wet dream. I never knew a system could sound sooo good.( and I don't have a very expensive set-up either). Now to my issues. So far, tweaking the unit is tough for a 54 yr old. I'm not really savvy in this stuff, and I feel like I'm shooting in the dark. I think I've got the X-over thing down, but the parametric EQ is intimidating. I understand about adjusting the freq and their strength, but the adjustment of the "width" (for lack of the proper term) of the freq (or the sharpness) has me baffeled. Also , once I make an custom adjustment , can I "store" it? I'd like to have a different one for FM than what I have the CD one set for. And I can't get my company cell phone to transfer it's phone book (Motorola i580). All advice is welcome. Thanks for reading and helping.

Thank you so much. I'm sure this will be tremendously useful. As I open my can of V-8 cooktail juice, I suddenly excaim,"DUH HUH !!"
