Hello..
I just installed in my car a RF p3 12" sub pushed by an eclipse XA1200 amp (both brand new) but the sub barely moves and i cant really hear it over my components up front. Its in a sealed 1.25cu ft box wired at 2ohms (amp does 500rms@2). I was wondering if this was due to a break-in period on the sub? If not then its probably the amp cuz I tested with a brutus 1206d and the sub moved much better(900w @ 2 though). Basically, can the sub break-in reduce output this much? Thanks for any help.
i am an idiot

If it is a dual voice coil woofer, play only one coil, if it moves now, one of your coils are wired backwards.

Its a 4ohm dual voice coils. I have the positive wire from the amp running into both positive terminals on the sub and the negative to both negatives on the sub so i believe the coils are wired correctly. I followed the wiring wizard on this site.
