I have a 2001 Jeep Wrangler TJ and I have purchased two different dash kits and both are totally flush...  This wouldn't be an issue if my deck didn't have a faceplate that hangs down...  Is there a way to shim my deck out without making it look ghetto?  This picture is not the new deck I installed but it shows the lip I am hitting with my new deck because it hangs down with the 5" TFT LCD screen.  I just need to shim it out a 1/4" to a 1/2" or so, but I can find a kit that includes an option to offset the deck, they all are flush mount.  Please help!

I used a American International kit for my Park Avenue.

My problem was not enough room for the wires behind the aftermarket deck.

The A I kit comes with some different face plates to allow for a flush fit or a stick out plate.

I took it a step further and filed the flush plate to let my radio stick out further.
