hello!

i have a question: i have 3 cvr 12's in my 95 t-bird now thats ran by a infinity 1211a and its pretty good but now i want more bass! i would like to keep the 3 12 setup because i'm not sure if 2 15 will fit. the box is a prefab sealed with 1.3cu ft per chamber. any suggestions? i would like to hit 150+ db

Are the 3 subs in a ported enclosure or sealed ? Also, if you want more bass and do not want to change your subs, get a larger amplifer that will output more power to the 3 subs. Are the subs DVC, SVC and what ohms are they ?

its sealed dvc 4 ohm kicker cvr 12 the box is 1.3 per chamber

A sealed box is usually not the first choice for "loud" in sub boxes.

You'll need to throw more power at the box (in it's current state) for it to get louder.

The other option is building a vented box. Those are louder than sealed and require less power to product equivalent output.

I would so some research and see if a vented box for your CVR's would fit in your application.

I forgot to ask, how is it wired? What resistance is being shown to your amp?

Make sure you have it wired for 2.67 ohms as shown below with 3 speakers:

My thoughts exactly. What I would do is vent the enclosure, ensure the lowest resistance from the subs ( taking into account the amplifier as well for resistance ) and maybe get a larger output amplifier.
