Installed a Pioneer Premier HU and noticed I cant power the unit off. So I unplugged the power to the back of unit and tested and was able to power unit on/off with SRC button.
Well I had to do some work on my car the other day and disconnected the battery cables. I was programming the HU and noticed I couldnt power unit off again.
Could this just be a fuse issue? could it be that I dont have a wire connected (I noticed I dont have the remote and another wire... forgot which one thou)?

You can't power it off using the source button or you mean it just doesn't  power down with the keys! Either of the wires you mentioned have no relavance to that problem!

You have to press and hold the source button to turn some units off.
