I helped a neighbor out by giving him my old stock unit, but on his truck it came up in a locked mode. ANyone know how to get rid of this? 2006 Chevrolet Silverado. Thanks.

You have to bring it to the Dealership.  the computer of the vehicle needs to be programmed to accept a different radio.
