whats the real differences?
and can u invert both?

ONLY difference is the net volume of the enclosure increases. (Because the basket is no longer taking up space)
You can invert one, both, or neither.

No sound difference. It will slightly increase the enclosure volume, but not much. It is done a lot for insufficient mounting depth or to gain that little bit of net you simply don't have with a conventional mount. Some people like to show off the basket/ magnet. Mostly a style thing. You can invert both or if you want to do one regular mount and one inverted you need to make them out of phase of each other so they will actually be in phase and not cause you major cancellation to each other. If you have correct enclosure volume, mounting depth and are not looking for that inverted look. It is a waist of time.

If you invert one but not the other you will need to wire one subs out of phase from the other.  If all subs are mounted the same (all inverted or all not) you can wire them normally.
