alpine iva d 106 no video from ipod

I have an alpine IVA D-106 and the bypass required to watch DVDs while in motion installed in my 2001 Plymouth Neon <= 
. But when i hit the source button and go to my iPod the only option is music. I do have a movie on my iPod but it no longer gives me the option to view videos.
