I have 2 15" Quad voice coils subs and was needing a little guidance on how to wire them properly. I have 2 kicker KX850.2 amps, or I can use 2 Memphis MCD-250. I have a ported box so power is not an issue, just looking to see how to properly wire a 4 voice coil sub, as I am used to dvc. Thanks.

ready for this?
Coils 1 and 2 (+) to coils 3 and 4 (-) series connection.
Coils 1 and 2 (-) to (-) of amp
Coils 3 and 4 (+) to (+) of amp
This set up is a 2 ohm load on the amp.
I would suggest the kicker amp which gives you 425 RMS at 2 ohms.
I'll scan you a pic when I get home.
To do BOTH speakers on one amp you'll need a 1 ohm stable amp. I'll get you that wiring too if you need it, but both the amps you list cannot work at 1 ohm.
If you want to use one amp for each use the above setup for 2 ohm load on each.
Otherwise the only possible setup is at 4 ohms to a single amp using BOTH woofers. They will be severely underpowered this way though..
