Ok i got this amp.. http://www.online/CarAudio/p_18561_Hifonics_XXV_Colossus.aspx

Im running 2 12inch l5s kickers (in a small sealed box)

i have them hooked up like this running 4 ohm 2000rms

..amp clipping reply -- posted image.

My amps got a led for cliping built into it.. (led clipping sensor light is also on the Knob up front)

just got everything hooked up.. all 0 gauge ground and power

 the led has 3 colors

GREEN  for pre clip

ORANGE for soft clip

RED for hard clip

when i turn it up not to far like where its just starting to bang the GREEN PRE CLIP LIGHT  blinks when it hits..

TUrn it up a lil more about to what they should prob sound like  youll see the orange light blink

I have never yet seen it blink red tho.. for a hard clip....

WHen it says its soft clipping  its really sounding good .. nice and clear and here no distortion from subs at all?    Whats clipping ? the amp or the subs ? whats going on?? help?

Set your gain properly and the amp should not clip.  Check the Hot Topics forum.
