uses for aux input on p5200hd?

I'm putting some perfume on the pig being my 2002 Grand Caravan getting a Pioneer DEH-P5200HD CD Receiver w/XM Box. Six OE non Infinity Speakers....for Now. Anyway, I'm wondering about AUX input 3.5mm stereo jack on the front. Can I plug in a cord from my Motorola Droid's 3.5mm headset output to the radio and hear the audio over the system? I use the Droid as my iPod and the Google Navigation also. This would be nice to have. What are the common uses for the Aux in on the Pioneer DEH-P5200HD? thanks.    

it can be used as any audio input. it would play your music from your droid, an mp3 player, external satellite radio like sportster5 or something like that, etc.
