10 more port area or 12 less port area

Ok I am looking for a setup in more ford F150 that will (hopefully) satisfy me for a a couple years. Instead of making of yearly upgrades. I'm looking at Rockford Fosgate T2 subwoofers. Great SPL and a comfortable amount of SQ. Now I want to really MOVE some AIR, and I need some help with my decision of TWO 10inch or 12 inch subwoofers. Now I have a set amount of space to work with for my enclosure which is about 3.8cbft. Now if I go with the 12's I will end up with less port area because of the displacement of the port lowering my net volume. Or I can go with more Port area due to the fact of needing less Airspace AND i can tune it lower with the 10inch subwoofers.

Now which setup would you go with for moving the MOST AIR? Lower tuning (20-28hz) and more port area 10 inch subwoofers? Or Higher tuning (34-38hz) and less port area 12 inch subwoofers?

i assume you want the most bass. because your question of "what moves more air", really makes me automatically say 12" I like lower bass so i'd say go for the 12"s. I don't have much time today but i'll look over those fosgate subs to see what's up with them now a days. (haven't used fosgate subs in a while). is the 3.8cbft total? or per sub?

(haven't used fosgate subs in a while). is the 3.8cbft total? or per sub?[/QUOTE Yeah Im looking for the most Bass, and thats what I thought as well to go with the 12 inch subwoofers but by the research ive been doing, Port area has ALOT to do with it as well. and the 10 inch subwoofers would give me more port area and allow for the recommended or a little more (not minimum) amount of net volume for the subwoofers (10's). The 12's will be around between its recommended and minimum with less port area. And with the prices of the subwoofers I havent really messed with fosgate either. but Now that Im looking for some High SPL for limited space, Besides the (even more expensive! +100$) Orion HCCA 10 or 12, Fosgate is right on the money with my criteria.
