is the amp rated at 125 watts per channel into a 2 ohm or a 4 ohm load? I do not remember when they changed their rating system, I do not remember if the change was mad at the A or the (.) series amps.

2 0hm and they were rated at 250 but they would do 5-6 hundred watts easy.

The ones that did 500 to 600 watts were the ones that were rated 125 watts per channel into a 4 ohm load.

This amp is stable at 2ohms in stereo, bridged mode is stable only at 4ohms.

Rockford used to rate their amps by the power that they put out into a 4 ohm stereo load. Now they give you the 2 ohm per channel rating. An old Punch 200 was rated at 100 per channel into a 4 ohm load. The new 250 is rated at 62.5 wpc into a 4 ohm stereo load. 125 wpc into a 2 ohm stereo load.

I do not remember when they changed the rating system. To answer your question I need to know if the bottom of the amp says 125 watts per channel into a ____ ohm load? Fill in the blank.
