Hey I just bought the Neo iOn iPod adapter for my 02 Explorer. I have installed most of the adapter so far but I have to connect one wire (Yellow) to a constant 12V+. I found the Radio Constant 12V+ Wire (light GREEN/ purple) but I don't know if I should peel back some of the casing on the wire (green)and attach the (yellow) wire to it, while it is still attached to the rest of the harness? Or should I cut the (green) wire from the rest of wires in the harness and splice the (yellow) one with it?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks

You can use any constant +12V available in your vehicle.  It is generally better to run to the fuse box or directly to the battery (fused at the battery) than to splice into the factory wiring harness for the OEM radio.
