how do come up with the specs to build one of these enclosures? do i just take the specs that the manufacturer recommends for the woofer and divide it up among the chambers? the enclosure looks fairly simple to build, it seems like the hard part is coming up with the dimensions for it. i have some subs that i am totally willing to blow up trying to get the enclosure right. i just want to say i have done it pretty much.

I was reading the descriptions of the various order enclosures and it seems that the eigth order is the one that produces the highest spl levels. I'm not concerned with the quality of sound, I have an everyday car for that. I just want to be able to hit the high db levels with this particular car. I just have no idea of how to go about creating the specs for the enclosure. Hopefully you can help with that part.

OK.  https://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/boxes6.asp

A program like bassbox pro can help you calculate the parameters.
