I have a 2006 Suzuki SV650. I wanted sounds, so i did it. now i want more. I remolded the dash bezel and it now houses 2 memphis PR4's. i also have a factory amp from a 98 4 runner to power the speakers from an I-pod. I chose that amp due to the size. i am wondering if anyone knows anything about the alpine ktp445 amp. it is the same size and more powerful, but i don't know if it will work off of a low level input. Also i know it is designed for a high level input, would it even be an upgrade/more power.

Also i know it is designed for a high level input, so with the lower voltage from my i-pod output (compared to an aftermarket headunit), would it even be an upgrade/more power. Also is the amp bridgeable. no reason to waste 2 channels, and i could remold the rear seat to house a small 8in sub if i had 2 bridgeable channles. I guess the point is, would it be worth $200. I dont care about SQ, i am on a motorcycle. I just want it a bit louder, right now with a helmet, i cant hear it when i get above 60MPH.

As you see, i dont have a lot of room to work with for the amp.

I like your set up and it looks like you put some good though it. I dont have an answer for you. I will though go out on a limb and say it is going to be extremely difficult to be able to hear anything at 60mph on a street bike.
What is the idea of just using headphones?

a lot of ppl use headphones, but with headphones it makes it hard to hear anything else, like cars, emergency vehicles, and anything else you may need to hear.

Staying away from EarBuds is a wise choice.
