So i am putting a new system in my car and i bought a kicker amp that is 2 and 4ohm compatable. I also got two xplode speakers that are 4 ohm and a 4ohm dvs sub but i dont want to only wire one vc. So can i wire the sub at 2ohms and the speakers at 4ohms on the same amp?

If the amp is a 2 channel amp, you can do as you plan without having a problem.  If it is a 1 channel amp, and it is capable of a 2 ohm minmum load, you will need to wire the coils of the DVC woofer in series, then parallel the 2 woofers.  This will yield a 2.66 ohm load on your amp.

Well its a three channel amp with 2 ohm minmum load. So i was going to put all the woofers on there own channel. So two channels would be 4ohm and the other channel would be 2 ohm. Would that work?

Are you sure that the third channel is capable of driving a 2 ohm load?
