1992 pontiac bonneville radio wiring

Hey Gang! I have a 1992 Pontiac Bonneville and I am trying to Wire a CD player into it. The issue I am having is that I need to connect the "Switched" on the stereo (red wire) to the switched on the Car (yellow wire) however, there are 2 yellow wires. I need to connect the "Right front -" on the stereo (Grey wire black stripe) to the right front - on the car (dark green cable) However, there are 3 dark green cables. I need to connect the "Right front +" on the stero (grey cable) to the Right front + on the car (light Green Cable) however, there are 2 light green cables. I need to connect the "left front -" on the stereo (Green cable black stripe) to the left front - on the car (Grey Cable) however, there are 2 Grey cables one of which is probably the illumination. How do I determine which cable to use. There is no writing on the cables coming out of the car! Please help! Use an ohm meter.  With it conected to the light green wire and the appropriate dark green wire, the meter should read around 8 ohms.

I guess I'll have to go purchase one. Also I was under the impression I needed to wire this with the battery disconnected. Will this work with the battery disconnected? Does this work on all wires mentioned? Thanks!The Murder Mystery Co

The Ohm meter will do what you need to do without the Car's battery connected.
