I have a 2003 gmc seirra and nee to know how to wire an amp to a bose stereo system. I want to keep the factory stereo but just would like to ad an amp and subs under the back seat.

First. Have u ever installed an amp before?

Second, Do you already have all your wiring ready?

Third. You will also need a LOC. (line Out Converter).

I already have the amp in place and wired along with the subs I just do not know how to wire it to the factory stereo with the bose system. I found the amp on wire but that is as far as I know what to do.

cool.

Well go to your local stereo shop and ask for a Line Out Converter (LOC) sometimes also called High-Low converter.

This converter goes on the SPEAKER output of the radio and gives your the RCA out for your amp.

Does your truck have a factory subwoofer? If so you need to connect the line out converter to the wires os the factory sub, if it does not have a factory sub, then you would need to connect the line out converter to the front or rear speaker wires. You will have to tap into the wiring between the Bose amp and the speakers.
