what kind of power can the aq2200 put out @ .5 ohm??aq2200at .5 ohm -- posted image.

The grey, billowy, smelly kind of power. Is it specified stable at that impedance? If no, then you will likely fry it trying to run it there.

  according to DJ @ aqdioque 90% of them sold are ran @ .5 ohm. most for day2day. this is what he had to say in another forum.

 "If you had the one amp (aq2200) on a .5 load you making close to the same power as two strapped at 2 ohms."

 two strapped will do 4400+ rms. looks like i should just give DJ a call.

from what dj has posted, he has only had a few come back for repair. i am wanting to get another one like next summer and strap them @ 2 ohms. idk might get the other one sooner than that. they will be going on 4 American bass xlf 12"s. they are 4 ohm dvc. as of now, the box will be a   Three Chamber Single Reflex Bandpass. i know that info don't matter. i was wanting to get by till i get the other one next summer.

aq will run at 1/2 a ohm no problem,  power im not sure but the warranty is void, when they started, the warrantied for  the half ohm,  still the same board
