I have a 2008 Ford F150 with factory subs.  I would like to replace with aftermarket subs and amp.  Need info on wiring for remote turn on and input.  Can I use the wires going into the factory amp? Is there a kit for this that I can purchase?

hi,

BROWN / orange...sub +,  RED / black...sub -, dark GREEN/ violet...remote. sub is mono signal of course.  ok to use y adapter.

sub+ to center of rca, sub - to shield of rca, remote isn't  +12 volts.  will need to use remote turn-on adapter.  directed and pac-audio both make them.

mark
