infinity amps driving their speakers?

I'm buying 2 pairs of Infinity Kappa speakers: 693.9i rear speakers (110 wpc RMS) and 62.9i front speakers (75 wpc RMS). I've decided to not go with component speakers just yet. These Kappa's have some of the BEST specs out there! But when I started checking out all the Infinity amps on their website I was shocked to see that their amps (Kappa OR Reference) don't really put out a lot of power. That's surprising. WHY don't they offer a 2 channel amp???? I've never heard of a company that didn't make a 2-channel amp! And their 4-channel amps are pretty low in power compared to other top name brands. Looks like I'm going to stick with my original plans of buying Precision Power amps.

So what's the question? I personally think the Precision choice is a better choice, anyway... Not that Precision is a really good amp to start with, but between the two of those, it's the better one. Do you REALLY think that a 4X75 or most ESPECIALLY 4X125 isn't high power? That's an ASTOUNDING amount of power for your highs. Not enough for you? Then you suffer, just as I do, from an illness... It's called "overkillitis". I run 600WRMS per door, (150W, 150W, and 300W) three-way, active. It's a rare disease, and I enjoy every minute of it, but why do you want two channels? Get the four channel, and bridge it... I promise you - PROMISE you - that 75WPC is enough. What's your thoughts, that you think that 300 watts to your highs isn't enough?

My question wasn't really a "question" but more of a rant/vent. Just wondered why the Infinity Kappa amps are "a little" more powerful. NO, I don't "need" more power, and it's not for turning it up super loud. I like more power simply so everything sounds much better at a low to moderate volume. I haven't had a system yet that I've been able to turn to full volume. I just like stuff to sound better at moderate volumes without having to turn stuff up and overwork the amps. Also, we all know that you want your amps to put out more power than your speakers handle to cut down on clipping/distortion. But you're right, they do offer more than enough power in the Infinity Kappa amps. It's just that there are many top-name brands of 4-channel amps out there for half the price of the Infinity amps that put out 200, 300, and even 400 wpc RMS at 4 ohms compared to Kappa Four's 125 wpc RMS. I guess you're paying for better quality or something. Not sure how they can justify $450 for the Kappa Four. And I still can't understand WHY Infinity doesn't make a 2 channel amp! Very odd. I know a heck of lot more people who run 2-channel amps than 5-channel. In fact I've only known ONE fried ever who used a 5-channel amp! The Precision Power on the other hand offers more 4-channel amp choices and lots of 2-channel amps. And their amps are so much cheaper than Infinity! I guess my question was why Infinity wouldn't offer 2-channel amps, yet how they expect to get people to buy their speakers. I do realize that like many other brands, they started out making speakers. But dang it, they need to offer more amp choices for a company that offers so many speakers. You're also right on PPI being a better amp (in some ways but no all). I appreciate that Precision Power makes so many choices when it comes to amps and crossovers and line drivers and all the other cool stuff they make. Sorry my question wasn't really a question. It was more ranting and venting. I'm probably going to stick with the Precision Power amps (4-channel & mono block) only because they're less than half the price of the Kappa amps. The only reason the Kappa amps idea came into my mind was so I could be "cool" by running brand-specific amps to speakers.
