I’m still new to car audio: This is what i have. MB Quart Reference RAB450 4 Channel Amplifier. I took some photos of the actual amplifier that are at the bottom.
I want to bridge this 4-channel amplifier into two separate mono channels. the reason i ask is because ch-1&2 shows bridge icons. Can it be done ? or am i missing something here.
The reason I want to do this is to run the sub woofer off channels 3&4 and use channels 1&2 with the high pass for four center channel speakers wired in series-parallel, big suburban.
Amplifier Specifications:
50 x 4 at 4 ohms. 90x2 at 2 ohms, 160x2 at 4 ohms.
Ch-1&2 HP\Full\LP, 12db-Oct, 50hz to 5Khz,
Ch-3-4 HP\FULL\LP 12 db-Oct 10hz-1Khz.
This would be enough to power the sub with in it’s specifications and enough to power the center channel speakers. Where they won’t blow. The centers are rated at 50W peak 30W continuous MB Quart 3.5”. The center channel processor is built into the head unit.
The manual does not states this amplifier could be wired up like this. Then again the manual is very vague at best, not to mention I'm a newbe at this. It shows 11 functions and some basic examples in the back, ie, full range, active, and mono mix.
Here is the links to the actual photos I took of this amplifier. Just click the descriptions, thanks .

You can bridge channels 1 and 2 for your center channel. You can bridge 3 and 4 for your sub. I do not know how the inputs are set up on that amp. You may have to use Y adapters and set the input to 4 channel.
