identify replacement connector

Hi, all. I just bought a 2005 Kia Sedona LX that had no radio. I bought the appropriate wiring harness (the Scosche KA01B), dash kit, and my replacement radio (with its own wiring harness). I mated the two wiring harnesses and went to try to plug it in to test, and found that the plug on the vehicle didn't fit. It seems not to be the manufacturer standard -- I'm guessing the previous owner had his custom stereo installed and the installer replaced the plug rather than making a two-harness adapter the way I'm doing. I'd like not to have to cut the thing off, but I don't know how to identify what plug it is and therefore what wiring harness to get to fit it. According to your picture you need a HY03B by Scosche Product Page That above link is the mating connector for THIS which looks like your above picture. Scosche doesn't list your car as compatible, but pictures do not lie

Following is a picture of a Metra 71-7301 wiring harness.  This is the harness that would plug into the factory radio.  It appears to be exactly what you posted.  The harness you need is a Metra 70-7301, this is the one that would plug into the plug you posted in the picture. 

Thanks for the help, guys! But, huh. This is really weird -- the Metra site shows the ones you listed as being standard for this vehicle. The Scosche site shows the ones like this as for Hyndai Sonata/Accent and a completely different one for Kia. And the plug in my vehicle looks really well-done, no signs of aftermarket modification (that my amateur eye can see). Is Scosche just screwed up or something? Or should I complain to the guy who sold it to me?

Update: I called Scosche and they said that if it's a late-model '05, it might use HY07B instead. Now to hassle with an exchange... (Thanks a lot, Kia... )
