I plan to install a Kenwood KOS-A300 to my Yukon.  My plan is to tap into the XM input wires into the fatory head unit.  Does anybody know off had what the wiring schematic is for the XM reciever ?  This is all on an 04 Yukon XL with onstar, XM and Bose (stock 6 disc in dash changer)

So should it be as simple as striping back the rca connections on the Kenwood unit and tap them into those three wires?  with the right side going to the GREEN / WHITE and balc k/white and the left side going to BROWN / white and BLACK/ white?

Thanks, Chris

i'd probably use some type of input selection relay to select either the xm or the KOS. that would require cutting of the signal wires. depends on how you are using the KOS as it does have an AUX in.

I no longer have use for the XM so I was just going to cut the factory wires and splice in the KOS.  Thanks for the diagram.

you'll have to have the XM still connected for the radio to select the XM/KOS for an input. it can be selected by the radio presently...just preview channel plays?

Its just the preview.  When I bought the truck it still had some subscription left fropm the previous owner, not it is just one of my sources that does nothing for me.  Ill have the MX source which will now just be the KOS
