I've always had great luck here, primarily as a lurker researching questions (to which I usually find an answer in minutes - thanks to the expertise on this forum).  I'm looking now to buy an amp for some CDT EF61 components up front (I believe they are about 110 watts RMS).  .  I have a separate powered sub, so I only need a 2-ch amp for the fronts.   I read through alot of the hot topics and many, many amp posts and am now considering the 5 amps listed below.  Given the wealth of experience on this forum, anyone have an opinion on which of these would be best for the components I have?  Other suggestions for comparable amps are also welcome.  Cost isn't the primary factor for any of these.  I just don't want to go over the cost of the most expensive of these, which is probably the Zapco stuff.   I'm primarily interested in SQ.   Thanks for any opinions.

CDT's, huh? While not awful components, the Zapco (especially the Reference) and the Audison would be simply WASTED on those sets... Were you to be driving Brax, or a high-end Morel or Dynaudio set, then by ALL MEANS, use the Zapco or the Audison. Those are the PINNACLE of reference, sound-quality amplification for the car.
My personal recommendation/choice would be the Alpine. I am super happy with mine... Been reliable, and they offer VERY GOOD sound quality for the money.
I can't speak to the Sundown amp, I've always heard good things about them, but I have no personal experience with them.
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

THanks for the feedback.   I've been happy with the CDTs for some time.  Excellent sound.  But possibly looking to upgrade too.   Care to elaborate on why the Zapco's a "waste" on CDTcomps?  That's a bit of a vague statement.  Can you suggest a good source for Dynaudio components.  You seem to know you stuff around here.  Thanks.

I just mean with the phrase "a waste" that the amplifier far outclasses the drivers you are considering connecting to them. The CDT *is* decent gear, and for the money, there is precious little out there to compare.
As I mentioned, the Zapco Reference is at the pinnacle of sound quality for audio reproduction in the car, where none of the CDT's quite reach that kind of "reference" level. This *is* my opinion, and if you are happy with your choice of the CDTs, then by all means use them. All of the amplifiers you have selected as options are spanktastic gear. I just would (again... "my opinion") mate them to a much higher caliber speaker system.
Now... All of this being said, and all of the concessions therein, I would only use the Zapco amps on full active systems. There are VERY few off-the-shelf "component" systems that I care to hear beyond the sound-board.

As far as dealers or sources? Unknown for certain... My system is a full active three-way, and hand-selected individual drivers.
I seached google for these keywords:
buy dynaudio car speakers
There were some good looking results there, but there were many that won't be allowed for posting here...

Now... Go look at a REAL passive crossover. Just the pictures on that site will show you the difference between a $300.00 passive system's crossover network, and a $2000.00 passive system's crossover network. The attention to detail, the quality of the components, the physical layout of the devices... All this plays a part in the quality of the sound produced.
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

Thanks much.   That's a much clearer answer.   I understand where you're coming from.   Thanks again for the comments.
