I have a brand new set of JL 3 way components that I got for my last vehicle and never installed them. I would like to use them in my truck but don't have the time to fabricate a spot for the 4" midrange. What's the best way to wire the them as a 2 way set? It was that I run the 6.5" direct off the input terminals on the crossover and the tweeter off the tweeter terminals. Are there any issues with this? Any other Ideas outside of running an active setup?
Thanks for any help
Ben

i think i would run both the mid and low wires to the woofer.

wire them like this and see if the crossover screws with the ohmage too much, if not give it a try.

at least this way you will have some high filtering going on to help keep the heat down on the woofers VCs

If your system moves you physically and not emotionally, you have wasted your money.
