Has anybody ever replaced these speakers with an aftermarket driver. What speakers will fit. Metra calls for 4 inches of depth. how many hours should I quote for the job?

Earthquake has a shallow 8" that fits w/o much modification supposedly. Comes in 2ohm to match factory amp as well I believe.

I did the kicker compvt 8 in that car like 4 months ago or so. I would quote about 2.5-3hrs total.

Did you do both speakers? Do you remember if the OEM was single or dual voice coil? Do you remember the impedance?
