if this is for the alarm can I relocate this indicator light to a new position on the dash " using a LED light " and use the OEM harness in some way to power it. what i would like to know is which wire in the harness powers this light.

its the theft lock light for the radio itself and it has nothing to do with the factory alarm( you actually probably dont even have a factory alarm, keyless entry doesnt count) dont worry about that light.

thanks, I went to the dealership about 4 months ago (just after I bought the car) and had them run the vin #.. now she told me this car had a factory alarm but I really have no way of telling, other than buying a 100$ remote from them. Any advice would be helpful.I plan on making the switch on headunits soon and just as soon not do it than do it wrong.
