I bought this unit about a year ago from a shop fro 20 bucks. They assured me that the unit was in good working order and just wanted to get rid of it because it had been in the shop for years. Anyway, I have not had a chance to hook it up so I don't know for sure if it works. I plan to run it inline with my wife's JVC radio which only has one set of preouts. I just wondered if anyone has any info about the unit, and possibly a PDF copy of a user manual? I also want to know why the unit has what look to be microphone XLR outputs. What is the purpose of this? Any input about the unit would be great. I did not post a pic of the unit, but I can if requested. Thanks.

What is the writing next to the XLR jacks? I did find a picture, the unit pictured has RCA connections that are connected. The 2 XLR jacks are not connected to anything. The writing in the pic I found is not legible.

The din Outputs may be balanced outputs, but then again they may just be paralleled with the RCA outputs. What kind of amplifier(s) are you going to be using?

I want to hook it up to an MTX 895 5-channel that I will eventually have fixed.

I am not aware of MTX ever using balanced inputs, just use the RCA cables and forget about the dins.
