I did a search and did not find what I was looking for, can one of you tell me if this is a good idea to have, my Clarion deck has 2volt output and I am wondering if one that adjusts, maybe to the max acceptance of the JL audio JX1000D would be a benefit to me.

if so, can you suggest a couple less expensive brands or models for me?

2 volts is enough voltage to max out any car amplifier.

.5v is enough to fully drive the JL.

a line driver could only end up adding distortion.

it wont make the amp go louder, only loud quicker.
