How's everyone? Ok normally i have questions regarding custom jobs, but this time I have a 03 Navigator with the factory navigation and the rear dvd player. I have a set of wireless headpohones from an 04 navigator that produces no sound. I went out and brought  the headphones for my year, still no sound. The wired option works form the rear console, but the wireless does not. I have put the truck in dual mode etc... Any ideas?

Use a digital camera and point it at the IR transmitter of the overhead. Do you see the LEDs lighting up?

Yes, if the IR transmitter is working, you will be able to see the light coming from the LEDs behind the smoked lens.

I have in the past had to disable the transmitter in the overhead if they conflict with the aftermarket headrest units. I do not know the history of your vehicle. Have you checked in the menu to see if the IR transmitter is turned off?

Well I used the digital camera, nothing. But check this out, I was looking at replacement units, and notice that they have 2 IR sensors on the housing, one on both sides. The one that i have in my truck does not. I think that someone replaced it with an OEM unit, but from a different year truck.
