I have a Logic DBX1004 RMS Power @ 4 OHM: 125 Watts x 4 Channels. This is hooked up too 6 Whip Audio Speakers (8ohm, 100 watts RMS at 4 ohms I believe)and 2 Sound Stream TSW.4 Tweeters(RMS Power Range : 110 Watts). The tweeters are hooked up with a Infinti Kappa Cross Overs in the fronts. I have four speakers ran normally to the amp and I ran out of space for the last pair. So for the last pair (lets assumes the channels on the amp are A,B,C,D) I put the positive of one speaker. to A and negative to channel B. The other one was ran the same way but for channels C and D. I know I need a better amp but money is tight. After about 2 hours of playing the amp runs very hot and eventually cuts out and goes into protect. How should I wire this so the amp does not run as hot anymore. Also should I put external fans on the bottom to help cool?
Thanks

Fans are not going to help. First you are running that amp way hard. I assume you are also running it wide open as you are running 8 ohm speakers meaning you are needing to turn it up more than you would if you were running 4 ohm speakers.
Take the tweeters off the amp. I would imagine that is also not helping your situation.
Having never heard of the speakers or amplifier I am going to imagine it is not of a great quality which is also hindering what you are doing.
My recommendation would be to, as I said remove the tweeters. Then turn the gains down on the amp. Then next would be to do some reading on here on figuring out what would be a good set up. Even ask that. A good set of speakers on a good amp set and installed properly will yield amazing results.

On the other hand, "ghetto" flea-market brand setups like this are good for one thing; run 'em until they fry!  Bump it till it smokes! 4 channel amp over heating. -- posted image. Then purchase some quality gear and install it correctly.

it all boils down to three things:

1. what is the total ohm load at each speaker terminal? each terminal should be no more than 2 ohms. most amps are 2 ohm stable on each channel but not all amps so its important to read your manual to find out if you dont already know.

2. are there any blown speakers? having a blown or partially blown speaker in line with other speakers can drop the total ohm load the amp sees to below what the amp is willing to handle. also by having more than one speaker on each channel it makes it hard to know if you have a blown speaker because depending on how you have everything wired you might not notice the change in sound from a messed up speaker.

3. make sure you are feeding the amp the proper voltage and make sure your connections are tight and the ground is screwed to bare metal*. having a poor ground will make your amp get hot and cut off because even though you might have everything wired correctly, the amp still has to work extra hard to pass current through the circuit.

*note: not all metal in a car is a good ground. some pieces are glued in to the chassis and actually have very little material connecting it to the battery.

The set up sound good when it is on ... Yea I have to admit Whips are pretty cheap but they are loud. The amp I got for a steal as well but I have not had problems with Logic amps thus far. My tweeters are hook through a cross over in the door, should I disconnect them and run them to the radio line itself?

i dont know because you havent addressed any of my questions that i asked. if the total ohm load to each channel doesnt exceed what the amp is rated to work with then you dont have to more anything.

Do not bridge any of the speakers. Connect 2 speakers to each of the front or rear channels. Do not connect any speaker from positive on one channel to negative of the other channel, unless there are only 2 speakers. With 6 speakers, it will heat up real quick with a 2.66 ohm mono load. That is what you had in your initial post.
