hello all! I installed some 250 volt dayton caps in my low powered car stereo for my tweets. I like the sound,but my question is, am I wasting power useing these vs say 50 volt caps?? thanks.

The voltage rating of a crossover cap relates to how much power it can handle.  Higher voltage caps can handle higher input power levels.  I suggest always use caps rated at 100V or higher to be safe.

sounds like I have nothing to gain by switching caps... thank you for the info. hard to find information like this anywhere.!!
