i need suggestions on speaker setup

I have a 1994 Chevy Silverado Z71 K1500 4x4, i'm currently wanting to hook up 6 speakers to my 4 channel amp, but need guidance on the best way

to hook it up.If you can help than reply to my post or send me a private message, thank you.

    I Have The Following:

---- DX400.4 Kicker Amp

---- 2 Infinity Reference 6030cs 6 ½” 2-way series component speakers

 ---- 2 Infinity Reference 6032cf 6 ½” 2-way series car speakers

---- And I’m going to be getting ---- 2 Infinity Reference 3002cfx 3 ½” 2-way coaxial car speakers.

I also have 2 Rockford Fosgate 10" P2's, with a 1000w hertz amp, and kenwood receiver, but i already know how to hook that up.

So get back to me a.s.a.p. if you have suggestions on the best way to hook up those 6 infinity speakers to my kicker 4 channel amp. Thank you.

Connect the front speakers to the 2 front channels of the amp.   Connect the rear speakers to the 2 rear channels of the amp. When you get the 3.5 inch speakers, purchase a pair of 47 microfarad 100 volt non-polarized capacitors. Connect the 3.5s to the appropriate channels of the amp and place the capacitor in series with the positive wire of each speaker.

Hi, I just installed an Avital 5303 remote start/security system on a 94 chevy silverado extended cab two door, I know this vehicle is pretty old but the owner has really taken care of this truck it remote starts right up the first time. OK here is the only issue I'm having with it: I could not find the lock/unlock wires that control both dors I thought I found them I cut these wires and using two relays I connected terminals 87a to fuse box side, (BCM or whatever is opposite to door switch)30 to door switch side, 87 and 86 to +12 volt and 85 to lock and unlock from remote start box. It works but only driver's door side . has anyone done this or similar vehicle recently? where can I find these wires other than the door boot?     Millenium Chevy Impala.

my info shows that the lock wire is light blue in the drivers kick panel and the unlock is black in the drivers kick panel. also says that the unlock wire could be BLACK/ red or BLACK/ white. it says they are reverse polarity type so if that is the case then you dont cut the wires in half like you did. what it sounds like you did was a 5-wire type system, which is almost the same but the way to tell them apart is to use a meter and test to see if the lock wires rest at ground. if they dont rest at ground they you should reconnect the lock and unlock wires back together and connect your 87a relay terminals directly to ground. sometimes a tech sheet will be wrong when telling you if the locks are reverse polarity or 5-wire because they will test similarly and people dont understand the difference. if for some reason you dont test the wires first then you should make sure that you have a 10 or 15 amp fuse on the 12v feed to your lock relays just in case it really is a 5 wire system.

That makes sense, 87a to ground, 30 to lock wire, 86 and 87 to 12 volts with fuse in line and 85 to output from Avital. While no pulse from Avital the wire reads ground, when pulse from Avital the wire disconnects from ground and immediately connects to 12 volts via terminal 87 and it locks, same for unlock. just to clear up some confusion, i was talking about the factory lock wires when i said to test them to see if they rest at ground, not the wires from the alarm. a good way to test this is to put the black lead of your meter to the lock or unlock wire that you have already tested and confirmed to be the lock wires and then put your red lead to a known constant 12v source, if you get 12v then the wire rests at ground and you have a 5-wire system, if you dont get a reading at all but DO get a reading when you push the power lock or unlock switch then you are working with a reverse polarity system.
